This project began as a renovation to an old industrial building. However, as we worked through the design and constructability, it became clear that the doctors would need a more adequate solution. The result is a 12,000 sq. ft state-of-the-art wellness centre , home to a martial arts academy and chiropractic, massage, and acupuncture clinics. The design incorporates Feng Shui elements and the composition plays with light and shadow. The white façade finish contrasts with the shade cast by the entrance canopies and overhead trellises. large windows bring natural light deep within the building while creating a connection between the indoor and outdoor environments.
