The challenge was to design 8 separate units in two single-family lots while providing each unit with desirable spaces and amenities. The slope of the site proved to be an advantage as it allowed each unit to have main floor access to the street level with a lower level parking garage accessible from the alley way. The vision for the project was a modern row house with traditional elements. The lower brick-clad façade is reminiscent of New York style walkups while the contrasting stucco and clean lines provide a sense of modernity.
