Savana Strathmore is a 192-unit multi-family community comprised of four 48-unit buildings. Economical environmental principals were incorporated throughout and include in-floor radiant heating, flash water heating, low-flow water fixtures, EnergyStar appliances, native plant species, and passive irrigation. The most notable achievement was the heat-recovery system in the parade, which was completed at no additional cost. By recycling exhaust air from units' bathrooms, the system is expected to save 75% operational costs as to that of a traditional system. Mountain views guided the design as we used large wooden timbers, natural stone, and a neutral palette.
